Advantages: easy to carry AND LIFT, EASY TO USE TOO. Disadvantages: none
I use to have one of these irons but I gave it away because I did not use it very often. I used it for ironing my clothes when I was in the military and if I went on a job interview. But when I got out, I did not use it much at all any more. But it worked really good. It made some nice creases in my clothing. It was not heavy at all and was very easy to lift. It had ok features and functions too. It really did do a good job. I also can not complain ...

Advantages: excellent ironing, modern design, water control Disadvantages: price
I bought this product because in my home they break often! The average life of an iron is, in fact, about 2 years. I choose this brand because is famous for its long durance. The design is very modern and attractive, white, in short, practical.
During the ironing plate stainless steel flowing fabrics smooth eliminates any kind of fold.
The power is 2170 watt, it is anti-limestone and has a boiler-loading continued.
The base supporting the iron ... ...steam is variabiale up to 100g per minute and has a very practise function water control to monitor the water level, there are less than 6 LED lights for adempire this function and I must say that make it very modern and futuristic this product.
The warranty is 24 months, the price from what I saw around is quite high, around 120 € but the product is really good and functional and I am fully satisfied with its use.
The clothes are well stretched.

I have purchased this Hamilton Beach 14977 Iron before one year, and so far it still does a great job. I ever have gone through a fair number of irons, but all come out problems in half or one year. This is the best one I ever had. If you spend much money on your clothes, then you should spend money in them. I never knew how easy ironing could be until I got this iron. Now we use it to iron our clothes every day before we go to work. The use is easy, ... ...will take a while to prepare, the time only need few minutes, then it irons very smoothly and produced excellent amounts of steam. The steam is very good, which makes ironing easy and faster. Especially on using the burst of steam button is amazing.
The stainless steel soleplate looks nice and heats up quickly so that you can remove worst wrinkles fast.
All in all, this iron is a great buy and worth for the price. ...

Advantages: Great Steaming, Nice Shape, Heats Up Quickly Disadvantages: Leaks Sometimes, No On/Off Button
...a little money into the Rowenta DZ5080. The name was well known and I figured it would work well. I bought it off of amazon.com for 79.00. When the iron arrived in the mail, I quickly plugged it in and added some water. I put my shirt down and was ready to go.
The iron reached temperature very quickly. It has a temperate sensors that are shown by led lights to let you know when the iron is too hot, too cold, or just right. That was helpful, so that ... ...steam when I iron. A lot of steam. This bad boy did not disappoint!! I never knew an iron could produce so much steam!! I hardly had to touch the iron the the clothing! Just moving it just above the surface with steam kicked those wrinkles' butts! The shape of the iron makes reaching hard places a breeze, such as corners and buttons.
The only two complaints I have are the lack of an on/off button and it leaks a little water when I use it for about ...

ROWENTA DX1900
I am a creature of habit and while I don't actually much like the process of ironing I do love the results and as my late mother always swore by the Rowenta brand I have always bought and used Rowenta irons.
The last iron I had was called a Surfline and gave me many years of sterling service until, sadly, one day I mis-set the dial, ironed a garment at the wrong temperature and found half the garment melting to the base plate... ... ...delightfully balanced and with typical Rowenta smoothness it just glided over my laundry and ironing leaving me with a great finish to each item.
I haven't used the vertical steam function much but the couple of times I have used it, it has impressed. Each time, of course, I have said to myself that the dropping out of creases was more to do with steam in the bathroom where the garment was hung before I used the iron but, in honesty?, that probably ...
