Iron Man for PS3

Advantages: brilliant graphics and sound, + decent fighting styles
Disadvantages: little variation in level objectives + lack of cheackpoints and too much increase in difficulty

Having been a keen fan of the film, I was very excited to be bale to play the game. First things first, this game is based quite loosely on the film, and so don't expect it to stay completely true to the film storyline. However, this is by no means a bad thing, as the missions are often in varied locations, and all are pretty different. ...Iron Man the game, is truly astonishing..it is better than other marvel games based on movies..i would have certainly NOT liked it to replay the whole movie...so the modified storyline is quite good. It takes you to a whole new level of controlling a superhero...you can actually bend tanks(Hulk style) and fly at supersonic speeds. I am a now part time three dimentional graphics designer and I was almost involved in work for this game but due to my location I was unable to continue with it. Advantages: cool animation and game graphics
Disadvantages: poor game play, almost like the movie

...The game is same like the movie itself by actor likenesses, voiceover work, and some basic plot devices like the Army of Ten Rings. So, if you haven't seen the movie yet, picking up the game won't be a problem. There are a lots of villains from the Marvel universe, like Melter, Whiplash and the Titanium Man, with other enemies such as Maggia and A.I.M. that are not in film and help make for a brand new story. Well the game play is some kind of boring cause the game plot focuses on blasting around.. But the game graphics is cool and I like Iron man's movements and the animation is great. anyway for graphic and animation lovers I suggest you should try this one out.. PS3/360 differences DualShock 3 support means force feedback is available across the board, though the Xbox 360 version still has the obvious edge with Achievements. So... Read review

...Iron man is quite a good game on the PC, however I prefer the experience on the PS3. It is still, nevertheless a good game, focused lightly on the main storyline from the film, but stil with pretty decent graphics and sound quality. I enjoy it also because the fight scenes are very good and all battle mechanics are very well created and the dynamics sit well with it. I was quite dissapointed that the game wasnt based enough on the story and it was focused too much on the battles but never mind, it was still pretty good. I reccomend buying this to any PC gamer because for what you are getting, its worth the price and you wont be dissapointed with what you get.... Read review
