Iron Man - Badass
Review of Iron Man by
jet92
Advantages: Great script, great acting, kickass suit, amazing in blu-ray
Disadvantages: Not that much action
...this is the case with Iron Man.
The most memorable thing about this film is not the action (though it may be amazing) or, supringly, the suit (though that, also, is awesome) but Downy Jr.'s performance as Iron Man himself. Jeff Bridge's makes a stunning performance as the corrupt backstabing Obi, and Gwyneth Paltrow looks brilliant and acts brilliantly as Pepper Potts (I know).
The story doesn't follow the conventional superhero movie theme, as ... ...twenty minutes/half an hour to the end. Before then, the majority of the film is more about the production of the suiit and the sudden change in Tony Stark's (Iron Man's) lifestyle. And fighting terrorists (laughable it may sound but it's awesome.)
The only real let down is there isn't half as much action as I had expected, but that considered it is still incredibly funny, entertaining, and has a brilliant climax. Very nearly on par with the Dark ...

¤ª"˜¨¨¯¯¨¨˜"ª¤ - IRON MAN - ¤ª"˜¨¨¯¯¨¨˜"ª¤
Review of Iron Man by
hdjohnson
Advantages: Everything ~ One of the best movies about a super hero from the Marvel.
Disadvantages: Some violence, not advisable for small children
...fight scenes
*I loved how Iron Man's super hero power is channeled (that is something I didn't know as a comic book reader growing up)
*I loved how Iron Man trained himself to develop his power
*I loved how Iron Man's developed the making of his armored suit
MY DISLIKES
*The villain
*The "ladies" man character part of Robert Downey Jr.'s character TECHNICAL STUFF
Superb photography and cinematography scenes
Very appropriate ... ...effects, this film is full of them
Rated PG-13 for some intense sequences of sci-fi action and violence, and brief suggestive content
I wasn't bored at all during the full 126 minutes this film ran
FILMING LOCATIONS
I don't normally include this information in my reviews but I thought it was significant to show that this film was done in the USA although, they made parts of California look totally like a different country. I found that ...

I am IRONMAN
Review of Iron Man by
bboothe83
Advantages: Fast Paced, Super Cool, Action Packed
Disadvantages: NONE
...from the terrorists. The iron suit allows him to fly and also kill the enemy. After returning back home from being held hostage Tony takes a vow to stop manufacturing weapons and start perfecting more iron suits that will allow him to fight against other terrorists. I won't say much more about the story because I don't want to give away any of the twists or the ending. This is a serious movie with serious situations, but there is just enough humor ... ...This is a COOL movie. It is packed with exotic cars, and some of the coolest electronics you will ever see. Being a guy and loving exotic cars and technology, this really made me happy! The special effects were also amazing in this movie. Way better than other movies in this genre. You don't have to be into comic books or superhero movies to like this movie. I am not a fan of fantasy / superhero movies, but this one was very entertaining. I like ...

IRON MAN:Brain power
Review of Iron Man by
dangeek
Advantages: Almost Every thing
Disadvantages: Average climax.
...Spiderman hardly anyone reads on iron man, but this movie has represented comic in very good way and if you know generally books are far better than the movie but I think this movie is better than reading the comics of marvel. Story which has concept that can be believed and is possible as technology is advancing and Movie spider man has just hypothetical concept which is not possible in anywhere. Special Effect:
I must say the best special ... ...has the best visuals now IRON man follows the trends. Best place to see visuals when tony getting his suite on is great. What more I can say is the last fight is quite boring because there is very less energetic action villain is far superior than hero and he crushed him like anything and visuals are also not properly used.
Character Performance:
Tony Stark a man with an excellent mind skill, Robert has done very good job of making ...

Iron-Man....
Review of Iron Man by
boxieblue
Advantages: not your run-of-the-mill super-hero story. Hilarious. Entertaining.
Disadvantages: duh....??none!!!
After all the similar super-hero movies that Hollywood had been churning out, i didn't expect this movie to be any different. I was wrong. Here is a super-hero movie that does not involve the super-hero setting out on a quest to save the world. No. This super-hero's objective is simple-destroy the bad guys who tried to hurt him. None of the same old I-am-gonna-save-the-world lines. This is a super-hero who is an actual human.
The story begins when ... ...producer is kidnapped by a group of terrorists to try and force him to create a certain weapon for them. This is followed by a little flash-back. A fatally wounded Tony, kept alive by a magnet put into his chest, goes on to become iron-man and punish the bad-guys.
But before you get me wrong, this movie is not entirely about morals. In fact, this movie isn't about morals at all! Iron-man doesn't want to teach the young children any lessons. He just ...

Review of Iron Man - Stan Lee, Larry Lieber by
LostWitness
taken from ciao.co.uk
Advantages Good characters
Disadvantages Some bad plot decisions
...Some of Marvel Comics’ longest running series are surprisingly unsophisticated. When Iron Man’s creators designed the character thirty nine years ago, I doubt for one moment that they ever considered he would remain as popular as he has. A founding member of The Avengers, Iron Man has been a core member of the Marvel Universe for longer than Spiderman.
THE COMIC
Iron Man’s first appearance was in the Silver Age title Tales of Suspense #39 in 1963. Such was his popularity that not long after this, the core title Iron Man was published, and has continued to run ever since, clocking up over 400 issues in three different volumes.
THE ORIGIN OF IRON MAN
Billionaire industrialist Anthony Stark, chairman of the world’s largest weapons and munitions manufacturer was a victim of his own product. Struck...

taken from ciao.co.uk
Advantages Fun story line and great special effects.
Disadvantages The actors.
...Iron Man portrays a story of Anthony "Tony" Stark, a wealthy weapons manufacturer and president of Stark Industries. This is Marvel Comics newest film, together along with The Incredible Hulk and it is brought to the big screen from neighbourhood favourites Paramount Pictures.
The beginning of the story is as follows. Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr) is on a business trip in Afghanistan, but the convey he is travelling in is attacked by a terrorist group. They capture him and take him to there secret base, very orthodox, and instruct him to build his latest weapon that could potentially give the terrorist world dominating power. However, during the accident Tony is injured and his heart suffers major damage. Dr. Yinsen (Shaun Toub) is a fellow captive along with Tony, powers his heart upto a car battery to stop him from dying. Tony...

Review of Iron Man DVD by
Timbo3107
taken from ciao.co.uk
Advantages Best entry from Marvel for some time
Disadvantages Maybe too long timewise
...Hello and welcome to my review of Iron Man.
Iron Man is probably one of Marvel's strongest and up until recently one of the least complicated characters. Originally created by Stan Lee and first seen in March 1963 in Marvels Tales Of Suspense #89, Lee wanted a create a character that emulated the recluse billionaire Howard Hughes. Lee collaborated with scriptwriter Larry Leiber, artist Don Heck and the legendary Jack Kirby and from this the hero of Iron Man was born in his famous yellow and red armour, and now for the first the character now appears in his very own movie. This is the first time ever that a live action film has been made of Iron Man as previous mediums have been animation or comics and graphic novels.
I was lucky enough to see this recently and to be honest was quite surprised at how much detail and research had...
