Advantages very efficient and space-saving Disadvantages no back-up files
...Its amazing how two drives look exactly the same but one has far more storage space! I reviewed the 500GB version of this model, and so will review this 750GB version.
Design
The portable harddrive comes in an attractive silver case that has USB2 and FireWire 400 ports. It is a fully functional travel companion and easily fits into a rucksack or laptop bag. This is feasable because it weighs relatively little and is easy to handle.

Advantages great efficient, cleanly designed hard drive Disadvantages no backup software

Advantages HaLoads of storage space Disadvantages Annoying blue light
...I have had my PC for two years now and just recently I managed to fill my 80 GB harddrive up with rubbish. There was so much rubbish on it the harddrive was having problems reading the data. It was so full that I didn't even have enough free space to do a defragmentation of the drive. Anyhow with my birthday looming just around the corner my girlfriend said that I could have a new harddrive as an early present. I only wanted a 100 GB harddrive but after I had had a browse around I discovered that I could get the Iomega 250 GB external harddrive for the same price.
The harddrive itself is silver and has a clear blue strip across the front. The Iomega logo is clearly embossed on the top and underneath there is four rubber feet. There is also two vents one each side to draw in cool air.
