Ok I hope this is in the right place. It says internet jokes so here go. This is ( I think ) an origional joke I developed working in the fiance sector and having people sticking their hands in my pocket when it came to incentives.
Joke 1. I am basing this on my experience at a bank were one month we may have to only do 10 hours of assisting other people in addition to our own job then the next month it is 20 but no reduction in the amount of productivity you are supposed to produce.
You know how at work the typical supervisor will either add work. make a job slightly harder. or take a tool away from you. They stand up in front of people and say something like "Ok guys goals are going up, but we are not going to increase your salary and or give you the tools to do this extra work. You may not be able to do your regular job due to this, but trust us. We will do what is right for you" Of course they don't say all that but sugarcoat it. Here is the joke. When a boss does that and says trust us I think " Isn't that the same thing the settlers told the native americans? iThe same thing the female black widow tells the male? Isn't that the same thing lots of guys say to their girlfriends. Moral of the joke is to always be nervous when you hear trust us.
This joke is not really related but I was thinking of it today. Someone sees someone holding up a sign about vegitarianism. A son says to his dad "Daddy what is a vegaterian?". The dad says" It is an old indian word for a bad hunter". This in theory could be very true.
