Advantages: operating temperature range, economical Disadvantages: none
The Intel Xeon 2.4GHz processor will save you a lot of money if you want to upgrade your whole system. New softwares and system doesn't always mean lots of dollars spent on upgrading your hardware as well.
If you've got compatible machine, then this processor will help you do it. Just replace your old one with it, and voila! you've got a machine that will get to run new system effectively, save you money and help you do more with its new capability.

One of the reasons why I chose this is also the temperatures in which it can operates. From 41 F to 185 F. That's quite a huge range and I think that's a good investment because the place where I work isn't always nice and cool. ...
