...than all bar one of the previous 41 Superbowls, and for one main reason. The New England Patriots were set to become the first team since 1972 to go completely undefeated in a season. All they had to do was win the Superbowl against the New York Giants, a team whose regular season record was low, giving them the hardest run to the Superbowl, and who seemed to have got there against all odds and by the skin of their teeth. The Patriots have a team full of superstars, household names in the States such as Tom Brady, Randy Moss, Teddy Bruschi, Junior Seau and Mike Vrabel, to name but a few.
