The InVision PS6S1800M serves as an essential data communications device, enabling you to synchronize the information on your Symbol SPT 1700 or SPT 1800 terminal and the Palm Desktop software using HotSync technology. It also charges both your terminal and a spare battery - all while performing HotSync operations via modem or serial connection. Using the PS6S1800M, the SPT 1700 or SPT 1800 can HotSync with a host computer either directly through the serial cable or remotely through the phone lines.
