...only fools and horses has got to be the best classic comedy that you can watch on TV, and this box set has them all, every single only fools and horses episode that has been released, including all of the christmas specials. Whether you enjoy watching the episodes with grandad in the early episodes, or later on when del boy loses his millions! Every single episode is sure of being hilarious, with del and rodneys jokes and not quite so legal games. ----------The Characters--------- Derek Trotter - This character is played by David Jason, and is one of the two main characters, alongside his younger brother Rodney. This DVD consists of the entire 1st series of what went on to be Britains favourite comedy. Although OFAH wasn't overly successful when first aired, its second airing had boosted viewings and the show just grew with each episode to what it has become today. Main Characters: The first ever episode in which we meet Del Boy, an ambitious man about 35 years old, who looks after Rodney his younger brother and his dippy, yet lovable, old grandad. His and Rodneys mum had died when Del was 16. Rodney is about 19, 5 when his mum died. The seven series, (and 19 Christmas specials) lasted through till 2003 and revolved around two main characters, Derek (Del)Trotter, (played by David Jason) and his younger brother Rodney, (played by Nicholas Lyndhurst), they lived at 23 Nelson Mandela house, a block of high rise flats in Peckham and drove a bright yellow three wheeled van with 'Trotters Independent Traders' painted on it.
