This is the best ice cream topping I've ever tasted! I pretty much made it while preparing another recipe. It's great for funnel cakes, pancakes and waffles too. This is definately quick and easy (I only love quick and easy recipes). It only takes about 15 minutes to prepare and makes enough syrup to serve a numerous about of people (depending on the serving amount).
Ingredients:
12 Strawberries (washed) 1/4 cup of sugar 1/2 cup of water 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
How to prepare:
Dice the strawberries, place in a non-stick bowl.
Place the sugar in the bowl.
Place the water in the bowl.
Place the lemon juice in the bowl.
Place everything in a non-stick pan with low heat.
Mix everything and let it heat until the strawberries dissolve.
Enjoy this topping, it's delicious!
