In 2000 the Minnesota Wild became a hockey team in the NHL, Their first ever coach (Jacques Lemaire) Led them to a honorable season with a record of 26-35, The next year, in 2002-2003, they were the Heart of hockey with a overall record of 42-29, they went to the finals...And lost, The next year..Due to injuries of ...
...30-29. In 2004-2005, The Minnesota Wild Players, Along with all of the Other teams..Went on a Player Union strike, Which is the result of either just not wanting to play...or to low of pay. In The 2005-2006 season, The wild had a 500.% winning rate, with a record of 38-38, they had a losing season....In 2006-2007, they had a spectacular season with a record of 48-26. Detroit didn't get the name Hockeytown for absolutely no reason at all! We've earned that name! We're about to win the Western Conference championship AGAIN and then it's on to Stanley! After all that happened back in 1997 after the first Stanly Cup win in many, many years it's nice to be able to continue the streak as one of the top NHL teams in the country! My experience with the Washington Capitals has been one of thrills and chills, win and losses. I have followed them since they entered the league in 1975, and have been a loyal fan ever since.
