Advantages: Great actor. Disadvantages: Laid back rapper.
I liked Ice Cube as an Hip Hop/ Rap artist. He was like one of the rappers that were around when rapping was considered a good thing, if you will. Ice Cube would rap about the things that are important and not about the women, the money, and his cars. But I would have to say that I prefer Ice Cube as an actor than an rapper. Actually, for a while I forgot that Ice Cube was once a rapper seeing that he is in so many movies now. I like Ice Cube as ...

But you can't blame the guy for making a living. Some of my favorite Ice Cube songs are today was a good day (great song), straight outta ...

Girly Ice Cubes!
Review of Lego Belville IceCube Tray by
ivytoad
taken from ciao.co.uk
Advantages Look cool, durable, dishwasher safe Disadvantages Maybe a bit too girly for the boys!
...As it's summer and the weather is getting hotter I thought I would invest in an icecube tray so that I could make my drinks extra cold. I'm not a big fan of the icecube bags which you only use once, this adds up and they can get quite expensive (and for some reason I always manage to catch some of the plastic into the water so that there is plastic bag in the icecubes - not good!) Also they are not very environmentally friendly, only being able to use them once.
I was on the lego website looking at the 'Apparel, Home & Outdoors' section when I came across this really cute icecube tray. The icecube tray is from the 'Belville' range of lego (basically lego for girls).
The tray comes in a soft pink rubber material. The tray is 17cm long and 11cm wide and makes a total of 10 icecubes. It is rectangular in shape. There are 6...

Ice Cube Baby
Review of War And Peace Vol.1 (The War Disc) - IceCube by
ice_cube_211
taken from ciao.co.uk
Advantages Lyrically superb, good production, great album Disadvantages One poor track
...Now first of all this is my first review, so if it isn't perfect don't hold a grudge. I am a huge IceCube fan as you should be able to tell by the user name, however this review is not biased in any way and is my honest opinion on the album.
First of all, this album is fire. Cube explodes on every track, there is no lack of emotion when he spits each verse. If you have ever thought of buying an IceCube cd or any rap cd i wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to you. This is gangsta rap at it's finest. It may not have the political and social commentary of Cube's first albums ("Amerikkka's Most Wanted", "The Predator", etc) but has just the same intensity and better production than previous albums.
Tracklist:
1) Ask About Me
2) Pushin' Weight
3) Dr. Frankenstein
4) F*** Dying
5) War & Peace
6) Ghetto Vet
7) Greed

Advantages Simply one of the fiercest hip hop albums ever Disadvantages One or two below par tracks, and the two extra 'missing' tracks don't really fit in
...never come across before. Public Enemy's 'It Takes A Nation of Millions To Hold Us Back' just blew up in peoples faces, and is one of the biggest political hip hop records that has ever seen the light of day, certainly regarding black identity and the emergence of the Nation of Islam in the hip hop scene.
But if you're going to pick one record that embodies all the anger and frustration of ghettoized black America and one that almost predicts the real life future of what the disenchanted feelings would resort to, you would have to plump for IceCube's second solo release, 'Death Certificate', back in 1991.
IceCube was one of the founders of NWA, who themselves were pioneers of what would be termed 'gangsta rap', and whose 'Straight Outta Compton' debut promised good things. The band pretty much imploded after being seen as public...
