Advantages Really slim, light, has colour screen and looks pretty. Disadvantages Buttons are a little fiddly when using through the silicone case.
...' system to transfer your files to your pocket hard drive. Actually, come to think of it, I think this gadget is more like a pocket hard drive with the advantage that it plays music and has an inbuilt radio!
Okay, so lets start with the packaging. It comes in this really sophisticated black outer box with the H10 displayed in the window on the right. Really posh looking. You open the flaps to reveal the inner carton which is pure white. The inner carton houses the H10 which is in a rigid plastic package for extra protection, your battery, your head phones, your data cable, your power cable, your manual and installation CD and also a silicon case with belt clip and 2 spare cable socket covers. Everything you need! Also, a couple of adverts for places you can download music for free, as you have an iRiver. Handy, but i haven't used these yet...

Advantages much, in theory Disadvantages shuts down by itself in 5 secs
...Maybe I was the only unluck one with the following problem, but it exists just the same:
5-10 seconds after I start a CD, it stops and shuts itself down. Sometimes it plays, even for a long time, but then suddenly stops.
I have send them to their distributor, and this is the real important part about i-river. They kept the device for 10 days, and then said they didn't encounter any problem with the device and sent it back as it was, so I am left with a "good" product, which unfortunately cannot be used for the purpose it was designt for - listening to MP3 CD's !!!
So, think twice before buying this product!!
I have filled the details about this product completely based on the experience I have had with this product.. so this review should not be binding for 3rd persons......

Advantages Relaible, Cheap, Quick, Easy to Use, Easy Connection and Useful Features Disadvantages Lack of Games Features
...i bought my 6 GB Iriver H10 two years ago for £80 and it is worth every penny.
I didn't want to buy an Ipod as i had heard they involved a lot of software and connecting, adn so i opted for the IRiver as it uses Media Player and connects with one cable.
The transmission speeds are very good anda full album can be sent over in 2 minutes.
i have dropped it several times and the battery has never become loose, imy screen is undamaged and unscratched amd the speed of the IRiver is the same as when i bought it.
The reformatting of the IRiver is quick and very easy and the other features of the IRiver are very useful.
I use the text for reading short stories and i use the radio to listen to my favourite frequencies.
Although the IRIver lacks the games and quiz feature i still believe it is great value for money....
