...I love my little WorkPadc3. I have a Dell laptop which I use for porting mainly word processing and spreadsheets between home and school but I have found it rather cumbersome and very ‘visible’ so I decided to go for a handheld model which I could slip unobtrusively into my bag like a calculator. At approximately 12cm x 8 cm and weighing in at only four ounces the WorkPadc3 was ideal (once I’d removed my make up bag!).
I also use it for e-mail and as personal address book and organiser. I think that I'd be lost without it now.
As I’m not into games or web surfing I didn’t mind that it didn’t have a colour display but some might find this a drawback. Mine has a serial port and IrDA but no USB connections which is point you may need to consider when deciding is it for you. I opted for a docking...

Advantages Cool Colour Disadvantages only 2MB of RAM
...The IBMWorkPadC3, is more that just a Palm device it is a Statement.
Telling every one that not only do you, master cool technology but you can make it look good. So for any one wanting to buy a Palm product buy a IBMWorkPad because it is a personal statement. I know it sounds stupid but never the less it is true, and I speak from "on the road" tests. Downsides it that the device only comes with 2mb of RAM and is noy upgradeable so any future buyers should go for the IBMWorkPadC3x....
