This humidifier is one of the best there are. I don't have the pig but I have the hello kitty one and they are exactly the same. They are very easy to use and they are small and very light. The work better than a regular humidifier because they suck in harder and it holds a lot more than you think. its a very cute design and it is something that a lot of people put in there little kids rooms. My step daughters mother bought this kind of humidifier for her to use in her home. She says it works really good in helping the children breathe better when they are have a rough time brathing. It is so easy to use and does not take long to fill it up. It last a while being used before you got to fill it up again. It is reasonable low in sound, so it does not keep them up at night. My larger Bemis unit had quit after about 10 years in the middle of Wisconsin winter I needed a replacement quick and big box stores typically don't stock humidifiers after fall so of the slim pickings I took this on sale. The permafilter is a lie. It's like any other wicking filter. After two months the filter was as hard as rock or stone and flithy. Instructions ...
...save it. The whole interior of the unit was coated in mineral flake and I had been using softened water. The unit would also randomly pee on the floor and pump water out the side for no apparent reason. Overall, even though I needed a humidifier to stay healthy this was a bad machine and a few weeks after spending hours cleaning it and replacing the filters, its simply quit working except for the nightlight. This is a great little humidifier. We got this back in the beginning of the year because it gets so dry during the Cold New England winters here. It also helped when any of us got a cold so that our airways could open up and we could breath. I really like the style of this humidifier and the fact that its so simple to use. If you are looking for a fantastic machine then look no farther because you just found it. It is nice to have and helps you sleep a lot better when you are sick from a cold or even the flu. It will not do in a large area as good as in a small but still does a good job. I have had no problems out of it what so ever. It is a lot better in sound than most. It is not too loud at all.
