I just got this hub yesterday for the new mac that I bought, and I must say, it is a very reliable little piece of equipment. I have used it alot since last night, transferring at least 10gb of files, and using about 5 ports at once with pen drives and hard drives etc etc

I bought this when I had my desktop and a new laptop. It was easy to hook up, I am not that computer literate, and I didn't have any problem with it. I have never had to do anything else to it since I started it. I didn't need all eight ports, but if I did it would be well worth the money I paid for it. It wasn't the highest priced, but medium, and it has worked in my apartment and my mobile home I just moved into. It has worked with both ISP companies ... ...my laptop is a Gateway, both of them have had no problems with this. This was also easy to find in Wal-Mart, and since that is the only store I have available to me without having to drive quite a ways, it was very convienent to buy.
