This little heater really packs a punch. I've lived in a number of older homes in Canada, so dampness and chilly rooms are ofter a problem and I've owned a number of different space heaters over the years, and in comparison this one really impresses.
It heats quickly and well - zero complaints there. But the two best features are its extra long cord and well placed handles. Most models do not have either of these features, but they are very handy considering heaters like this are designed for their portability. I like that I can safely pick it up and move it to another location with risking a burn and the extra long cord means it can go almost anywhere. I will often place it in my long chilly hallways or near the bathroom entrance, just for a quick few minutes of heat to take of the dampness and chill in the morning. I have a dog as well, and when he enters the room I find Im sometimes moving it around to accomodate HIS seating preferences. With the great little handles, I dont have to worry about letting it cool.
Great little heater. Does the trick: heats a room quickly and straight through. Some less expensive heaters may heat as well, but they dont have the added features or style of this one and often are not as sturdily built.
