My family owns three of these units. We live in Colorado and the weather here is whacky! It can snow any day of any given week. Temperatures often get below freezing. The in-laws gave us the first one and then I purchased two more. I paid roughly $40.00 per unit.

This tower heater stands about two feet tall. You can adjust it to stay in one position so that it heats directly or set it to rotate 360 degrees to heat a large area in one room. The rooms in our house are not very big so with either setting, this heater works sufficiently to heat the entire room.

It has a thermostat as well. I like this feature because I can set it right where I want it to be, without over heating the room. This probably helps to keep the energy bill down a little too. I have used heaters before that stayed on...regardless of how hot the room was.

The top of it is molded plastic which is a handle that allows for placing the heater anywhere in a room. That makes for more efficient heating. Also on either setting, you can put the heater as close to you as you want.

The cord is extra long. It comes in handy too for the living room where we have one unit. I just wrap the long cord around the base of the heater when it's not in use and when it is close to where it is plugged in. The narrow tower effect lets these little units be stored out of the way and are easy to tuck into a corner when not in use.

There's a feature for in case the unit is tipped over that switches the heater off. Excellent too because I have a big dog who doesn't know her size and frequently has bumped into the heater in the living room and knocked it over.

When it's 4 degrees outside and gets even colder during the night, we all use these heaters in the bedrooms. The thermostat keeps them at the right temperature and will turn the heater off and on as needed through the night.

Our forced air unit, if running long enough to keep the house warm during the winter, shoots our energy bill sky high. These little heaters, efficiently keep us all comfortably warm. We use them as needed. I liked the first one well enough to buy two more.

Runs quietly. Safety features.Very efficient. Sleek design. Well worth the money.
