This is just yet another Bose product I had to install for customers when I worked at Traviss Audio and Video,...and an utterly rediculous product at this price....not even worth 200.00 dollars....yes, it has a nice mushy warm garbled sound that alot of inexperienced people are wasting their money on,...but their is no articulation,...no bass... no highs...just an enormous amount of intermodulation distortion and an exaggerated midrange to the point ...
...surround speakers....you can buy a fairly high end home theater for this amount of money and hear everything there is to hear....like the Onkyo 5100 at 400.00 dollars...and add a second subwoofer and get real bass and dynamics that makes movies on dvd exciting....and hear all the clarity and details in all the quality speakers....and a high quality 7.1 receiver worth the price of the whole system....so please...shop around and don't be fooled by ... I just bought my second Onkyo 5100 for the basement area this time after being impressed with my first one....for the audio enthusiast this system has the clarity,...articulation....dynamics...and just add a second subwoofer...and you have the wall flexing bass to sound like you paid thousands of dollars....and I can't believe the high quality 7.1 receiver you get with this system....its worth the price of the whole system by itself...speakers are ...
...the Bose and bought the Onkyo 5100...and has a bunch of money left over.....until now I didn't pay that much attention to Onkyo,...but now when I read all kinds of home theater magazines,...all Onkyo products really rate quite well to excellent....so what can I say,...I found a great product at a great price....even after hearing my main system with Anthem avm 50 and signature Paradigm speakers and Subwoofers....the Onkyo still delivers for us audio-enthusiasts... ... I installed this Bose product for a friend of mines lady friend,...and coming out of a box with tiny speakers,...cheap looking receiver....and bass module.....and after hooking it up,...I really thought this was a 200.00 dollar system.....when she told me how much she paid for it I was absolutely shocked....the bass module was just very exaggerated distorted midrange and when you listened to the front and surround speakers on their own,..they were ...
...Bose sells their stuff for this price and people still defend it....I had her sell it to someone else and she bought the Onkyo 5100 with my advice... for 400.00 dollars and had more than enough money to add a second subwoofer that actually produced bass and she couldn't believe how much better it sounded than the Bose....We as the people need to stop letting companies who just keep a team of lawyers and phony patents around to sell really bad stuff ...
