Review of Samsung HT X250 Home theater system by

Advantages: great features

Samsung HT-X250T DVD Home Theater System We have a 50" plasma Samsung and while the TV is great, especially on HD, the sound is not impressive. We own some BOSE products and we really like the sound that BOSE provides. I had my mind set to get a BOSE system and was primarily looking at the BOSE 3-2-1 Series II. However the user reviews were middle of the road. I then began to look on this site for 5 star rated systems and was impressed by the reviews ... ...and fits well with the Samsung TV. Installation was a breeze. Color coded speaker connections really help you to sail right through installation. I've never owned a home theater system before but I had this one up and running in half an hour and I was taking my time. I can use the universl remote for both the TV and the Home Theater System. Now for the important part. This system just delivers unbelievable sound for the price. I can't imagine why ...

The Samsung HT X50 Gets My Seal Of Approval
Review of Samsung HT X50 Home theater system by
bigwerd07
Advantages: Great Features, Nice Quality Sound, Nice Remote.
Disadvantages: Hard To Use Interface, Plain Looking Speakers, Bad Instuction Manual
I bought the Samsung X50 Home Theater In A Box from Best Buy for about 250 dollars. I had recently purchased a new TV and wanted a surround sound to accompany it. I tested several setups at the store, and this Samsung sounded the best. The system includes two rear speakers, two front speakers, a center speaker, and a subwoofer. There are many great things about this system. The overall sound quality is ok. it is nothing special, but it gets the job ... ...a DVD to access the menu either. Also, the instruction manual isn't very informative. Another thing is the speakers could look a little more stylish in my opinion.
All in all, if you are in the market for a budget home theater system, don't overlook the Samsung HT X50! ...

Panasonic SC PT960 - A Nice Upgrade!
Review of Panasonic SC PT960 Home theater system by
JohnA
Advantages: Rich Sound Quality, affordable price
Disadvantages: none
...and we settled on the Panasonic SC PT960 system. Was I able to get a good system at a low price? Let's take a look.
For my money, the answer is a resounding yes. Ok, some of you folks out there who have very sophisticated tastes and like to build your own systems with custom components can certainly say that there are better setups out there. For someone on a limited budget though, this is a quality system at a price that is probably affordable ... ...working with systems other than Panasonic itself. I had seen this written numerous times, but when I started to set the system up on my Magnavox set, I was easily about to program the correct code in so that one controller controlled everything. So that problem was a myth.
Folks, if your a high roller and you want that really expensive system like Kobe Bryant probably has in his game room, pal this is not the system for you. However if you're a ...

puts out clear sound
Review of COBY DVD-937 Home theater system by
livingdeadgirl
Advantages: easy to hook up, very clear, and goes loud.
Disadvantages: none
I purchased this kind of home theater system six weeks ago. It was really easy to install and did not take no long time either. It comes with five speakers and a subwoofer. I installed the speakers all around the room and when I played the tv, the sound was nice and clear. It went up so loud I could hear it all the way through my home. The best part is when I sit down and watched movies on the tv and it brought the sound out to a fantastic volume. ...
