I purchased HP Fax 640 to replace an old inkjet fax which was broken.this machine does everything that I hoped it would do and it does flawlessly copies and transmissions are crystal clear, there are no paper jams, and set-up is simple with great directions.this fax machine makes copies much more quickly and better quality than the old one.it can holds about twice as much paper than the old one .I also can schedule faxes to be sent later.I use this fax machine only for occasional faxing and copying.so it is very value for me .but it is no VOIP or digital phone and without a surge protector.all in all the quality of this fax machine is great and it is easy to use.I put it on my desk and it dose not take up much space.
