I have owned the HP psc 1210 for five years now, and I have never experienced a glitch with the hardware. It is cute, compact, and performs all the tasks I need.
As I have already said, the printer is adorable. I just want to hug it. Its relatively small size has enabled me to put it pretty much wherever I need to without losing much space.
The door on the front closes easily, the lid to the scanner is on a well-made hinge, and the buttons offer an easy user interface; each function has its own button and is labeled well.
One of my two complaints about this all-in-one is its printing speed - it takes a decent amount of time to complete a print job. This is not an issue for me as all the benefits far outweigh this disadvantage, and I usually do not need laser printer speed.
Aside from the speed, I like the quality of the print job. It comes out clean and crisp.
Finally, the printer rarely jams, and only does so when I put the paper in sloppily.
I love having a scanner/copier on hand! This function has been extremely useful to me. The quality of the scanning is awesome, even for such a cheap machine. It gets the job done!
My second complaint about this printer, however, relates to the scanning software - it takes a long time to load (sometimes) and I occaisionally run into a glitch concerning scanned files being saved where I want them to be.
