I received this a a gift and though how cute but not cute enough. The volume on thiks tv can differ. My gripes were that the tv doesn't get the best quality sound so I see that makes it great for kids or maybe just a tv for the kitchen counter. Now I like that the plugs are in the front for easy access for video game play. The tv will entertain you as you turn up the volume with hello kitty dancing across the tv. It is the tv you love to hate. If you're a heavy sleeper don't count on the time feature to wake you right out bed. The handle feture is nice but trust me you want to pick this baby up as you would an other television because it will detach eventually.
