These were my very first good quality headphones and I still love them. In terms of sound quality, they were exactly what i was looking for. As far as durability goes, not as much but keep in mind that I used these headphones just about everyday for 2 years and very long hours. ...only problem I've had with Sony headphones (besides for the breaking plastic on the V600) is the cord. With the V600, I kept rolling over the cord with my chair and the outside part of the cord (not the wire inside) split in a few places. Even after all that, they still work great. These head phones are ok but when they tear up I will not buy another pair. They hurt my ears when I listen to music and when I use with my tv in my bed room. I just do not like any thing that ends up hurting my ears. The sound is very clear. I can hear the music really good and the sound comes out nice and clear. It is really easy for you to use.
