I have these type of head phones ans they are so clear in hearing music and listening to my tv. The don't even hurt my ears at all with is a plus for me. That is the best part for me. The sound quality is very clear without no static whatso ever. My other family members use these as well so they don't disturb others around them . Advantages: Good sound leak ratio/sound blocking. Disadvantages: A bit hard to keep wearing for long periods of time.
The Sennheiser HD 280 Pro is a very good quality headset for the price. They do a very good job blocking outside noise and they also keep from leaking sound.
The adjustable and rotative cups make them flexible and easy to store away.
They are also as mentioned in the description very useful for monitoring in musical compositions as the headphones do not hype the lows and highs for you, distorting the sound.
The cups are cushioned and are quite ... ...time. The firm grip the headband holds pushes the cups rather hard against your sides, which contributes to less sound leak and blocks out more sound, but it gets uncomfortable rather quickly. I for one can not use them for more then an hour straight without having to take them off for about 5 minutes.
They are however without a doubt, worth the salt you spill on them.

Sennheiser - this comapny means something when it comes to headphones. This headphones are rather light and small. Finishing is nice - however it`s pretty delicate, so be careful when handling it. Good looking, classic design.
The fake leather cover is easy to damage. Earlap are slightly to small, they can squeeze your ears after not that long time. When it comes to loudness, I`m a bit dissapointed - even very loud listening is still cover by voices ...

This headphone set of Sony is an example of fantastic development in the technological sphere. I have been with it for some months. Actually I have received it as a gift on my last birth-day and it is really sweeter than the birth-day cake. I have used different sets earlier.
