Working the second shift I have found it hard to listen to louder music when I'm awake! I live in an apartment in a city so blaring the house stereo and two in the morning on a weekday is out of the question if you don't want a visit from the police!! So I wanted to get something I could listen to both the house stereo, my computer whatever I can find to use it for and for a decent price! ...My apartment is a mid size one and from one end to the other is about 50 feet! They will work all the way across my house with clear reception! These headphone are nice to have but are expensive. My step daughter got her a pair because the other kinds she use began hurting her ears. These do not hurt her ears and they are static free. She can hear her music so clear that I some times ask to use them. They are not hard to maintain and keep in good shape.
