Advantages: Super comfortable, amazing sound quality Disadvantages: Can break easily, cord splits easily.
These were my very first good quality headphones and I still love them. In terms of sound quality, they were exactly what i was looking for. As far as durability goes, not as much but keep in mind that I used these headphones just about everyday for 2 years and very long hours. Here's a breakdown:
Pros:
-Amazing sound quality
-Very comfortable: I wore these for hours without even noticing them. Still my favorite headphones in terms of comfort.

Cons:
-Plastic broke off on one of the cans after a couple years of everyday use which made the can hang loose.

...as a replacement for my Sony MDR-V600 after much research for good quality headphones. Let me tell you, these are the best headphones I have ever used and a step up from the MDR-V600. If you want quality headphones, the MDR-7506 are what you're looking for. Here's a breakdown:

These head phones are ok but when they tear up I will not buy another pair. They hurt my ears when I listen to music and when I use with my tv in my bed room. I have these type of head phones ans they are so clear in hearing music and listening to my tv. The don't even hurt my ears at all with is a plus for me. That is the best part for me. Advantages: Easy to use - Just plag and Play Disadvantages: Does not Block out External Sounds
Great for people who just want to keep their music/computer game sound to themselves without other people hearing what they are doing. This is a cheap alternative to fancy shmancy wireless headphones. This is a No Muss, Less Fuss solution to personal audio.
