Advantages: Great isolation and nice bass... Disadvantages: mids and highs frequency overshadowed by bass, average design
Sennheiser cx 300 is first generation IEM that developed by sennheiser, it's so popular and it shares same sound signature like senn hd202 IMHO. This IEM is bass heavy, but too bad, the bass response isn't really good. The bass is too much for me, it's boomy and overshadowed mids and highs frequency. The vocal sounds laid-back and the highs doesn't sounds good neither, cymbals sounds muffled for me. Even so, senn cx300 is far better than stock earbuds, ... ...my opinion, if you can get this cheap in online store, this product is worth to buy, especially for bass-head, but if it's too expensive (more than 50$), you should look for another IEM, like creative ep-630 that sounds almost same with cx300. Also beware of sennheiser cx300 fake products!! ...

Advantages: Everything! Disadvantages: I've yet to find anything.
...me count the ways; These Griffin TuneBuds headphones are awesome, I really love them. The audio quality is superb- as in, they can get really loud, with practically no distortion. They're also compact enough to not block out all the sounds around you unless you want them to. They're actually quite small, and they fit inside your ear, (I personally like to hang them from my earrings because I'm kind of hard of hearing, which works because I use them ... ...not so long as to where they hang by your knees. These earbuds are self-contained, which means no crazy cord tangles all over the place, (and no one likes knots or being tied up in their own cords.) They plug right into your Ipod Shuffle, or, if you buy the adapter, they can plug into anything else that takes a standard jack. My favorite part though, is that they're so cheap! I bought mine for 10 dollars at K-mart! Woo! I honestly don't have a single ...

Advantages: clear, reduces background sound. Disadvantages: Short wire
This was my second pair of in ear ear phones, and i was really starting to get a feel for them.
This particular one is brilliant for using on a laptop when your on a train or in a loud busy location, it seems to drown out the background noise of a busy train or street.
Really comfortable, very easy to slip in and out of your ear.

Advantages: superb sound quality, great sound isolation, and dual mode (HD and Bass) Disadvantages: output volume is smaller than any other iem
This is the best sounding earphone I've listened so far. The value of this phone is unbeatable. I got this only for $80, and i still prefer this than more expensive earphone like Shure e4c or UE Superfi 5.
One things that you should notice is the insertion of the phone. Many people said that the sound quality is bad or no bass response when using this phone just because wrong insertion. When properly inserted, the tri-flange tips is indeed very ... ...actually it's safe and give noise isolation up to 35 dB.
Sound quality of this earphone is very impressive for the price. The iM716 is analytical and bright sounding. You will hear music like you never before, it brings every detail in your music, and it will make mp3 under 128 kbps sometimes sounds harsh and worse. The bass is punchy and tight on Bass Mode, Mids and Highs sounds great too. When amped, iM716 is even comparable to Ety Er4p.
Overall, ...
