Since some years, I have been working more or less as a DJ. Here is my experience about my second headphones. My Usage
There are two ways I use this headphone. One is at home, listening to movies or music. The other usage is to mix records live. Advantages
The headphones are big enough to cover the ear. But they are not completely closed, anyway, they have an excellent coise cancellation. Like that, you can hear your pre-mix channel ... ...its 30 mm driver. The cord is a spiral cord with 5 meters length - long enogh to have a drink at the bar and still be in touch with your mix. ...as a replacement for my Sony MDR-V600 after much research for good quality headphones. Let me tell you, these are the best headphones I have ever used and a step up from the MDR-V600. If you want quality headphones, the MDR-7506 are what you're looking for. Here's a breakdown:
Pros:
-Amazing sound quality
-No background noise: Once these are on your head, you will not hear what's happening around you. -Comfortable: I wear these for hours without ... ...only problem I've had with Sony headphones (besides for the breaking plastic on the V600) is the cord. With the V600, I kept rolling over the cord with my chair and the outside part of the cord (not the wire inside) split in a few places. Even after all that, they still work great. ...decided on these headphones from Altec Lansing because they received really good reviews from buyers. They were a little expensive at $85.00, but I felt like I got a good deal because the retail price for these are $199.00. I don't mind spending a little extra on something that I use on a daily basis. I ordered these and immediately plugged them into my iPod and was amazed at what I have been missing while using the original headphones. Using these ... ...into your ears. You can hear every note of every lyric super clear and you feel like you are right in front of the band while they play. It is almost awkward to listen to music now because it sounds so much different from before.

I first saw these headphone on a plane, while reading the SkyMall magazine and I though that they would be perfect for me because I hate noisey plane rides and for other places also. The next day I ordered them online and as soon as I recived them I tried them out, I plugged them into my iPod and sat next to my TV and tuned the volume on the TV up all the way it can go. Without them it was loud to my ears then I turned them and with them it had eliminated ... ...the job done. The sound quality is better than the normal headphones that the iPod comes with. Mine came with the headphones, travel case, and two batteries. I recent experience I had was when I had to travel through air, and during the plane ride a family has sat in the row in front of me and they had a baby that had clearly never flew on a plane before, She was crying the whole way but thankfully I had these headphone and the got the job done. ...
