These headphone are nice to have but are expensive. My step daughter got her a pair because the other kinds she use began hurting her ears. These do not hurt her ears and they are static free. She can hear her music so clear that I some times ask to use them. They are not hard to maintain and keep in good shape. With the V600, I kept rolling over the cord with my chair and the outside part of the cord (not the wire inside) split in a few places. Even after all that, they still work great.
