These are a very handy set of headphones. They can be used with almost everything and the performance of these is excellent. I was bought these as a gift so I was very pleased on first using them. I definitely believe that they cut out 80% of all background (low frequency) noise which is good when all you want to do is listen to favourite music and not screaming children. The noise reduction is excellent on these and I am able to listen to any tracks ... ...the sound through these is very good also and I am impressed with the overall quality of these.
The battery life with these headphones is very good the original alkaline ones lasted me over eight hours which was great. The headphones come with two adaptors - a large one for plugging into a hi-fi, and a two-pin adaptor for everything else like my i-pod. They both can fit into your pocket which is great, handy and useful.

...an good product from sony. Sony always relies on quality. this headphone is not exceptional for that. Very stylish in appearance and also easily fits in the ear. This headphone once placed in ear, we cannot hear external voices and it is really good noice controller. This headpnone really helped me in my long tours. we do not get tired of its sound and it cannot make you feel as you get tired while hearing music. this really surprices you everytime ... ...systems that are manufactured on sony always prove that it is product of a well reputed company and this to prove the same theory of sony. This is really compared to the headphones of apple ipod i bet. This sony product not in any sence lower to leading sound system manufacturers. I had this AblePlanet True Fidelity NC500TF headphones for my online radio job before. This headphone was comfortable because of its additional features on Soft Over-Ear Cushions that fits over your ear. This headphone was trying to eliminate the white noise is about as loud as the heating system noise. Base sound on this headphone can mask high frequency tones making music sound "muddled" and creating a live experience.
