I have these type of head phones ans they are so clear in hearing music and listening to my tv. The don't even hurt my ears at all with is a plus for me. That is the best part for me. The sound quality is very clear without no static whatso ever. My other family members use these as well so they don't disturb others around them . They're also compact enough to not block out all the sounds around you unless you want them to.
