Advantages: Good sound leak ratio/sound blocking. Disadvantages: A bit hard to keep wearing for long periods of time.
The Sennheiser HD 280 Pro is a very good quality headset for the price. They do a very good job blocking outside noise and they also keep from leaking sound.
The adjustable and rotative cups make them flexible and easy to store away.
They are also as mentioned in the description very useful for monitoring in musical compositions as the headphones do not hype the lows and highs for you, distorting the sound.
The cups are cushioned and are quite ... ...time. The firm grip the headband holds pushes the cups rather hard against your sides, which contributes to less sound leak and blocks out more sound, but it gets uncomfortable rather quickly. I for one can not use them for more then an hour straight without having to take them off for about 5 minutes.
They are however without a doubt, worth the salt you spill on them.

This headphone set of Sony is an example of fantastic development in the technological sphere. I have been with it for some months. Actually I have received it as a gift on my last birth-day and it is really sweeter than the birth-day cake. I have used different sets earlier. Although the successor, ep-830 is already out in the market, yet this trusted piece of ear phones are still doing great.
I remember to have bought this model some time back, and I still have not disposed it off, it simply sounds great.
In countries like India, it is still getting the shop keepers with this item some good amount of money.
The design is great, and since it is an in-ear ear buds, it doesn't fall out of the ears, and provides extremely ... ...listening to songs at a very high volume, this piece of ear buds cancels outside noise, letting you listen to the voice coming from the player directly, hence you can do with lesser sound, which in turn is beneficial for your ears.
The design is also good enough that it keeps the buds away from getting broken.
