The story focuses on the head of this family who is using a sonic drill to collect even more diamonds to flood the market and make himself a personal fortune. However the sonic waves produced are killing wildlife and fisherman. Pitt gets involved when NUMA realise the next innocent target won't be a random island, but Hawaii. To give away any more of the plot would be unfair the the story really is very gripping. As well as the action and the amazing survival (in this case from a hurrican and a shipwreck) the aspect of this story I loved most was the romance.
