The WinTV-PVR-usb2 brings live TV to your PC screen. WinTV-PVR-usb2 has a 125-channel cable ready TV receiver, so you can watch TV in a resizable window or full screen. Or listen to FM radio with the built-in stereo FM receiver. And with WinTV-PVR-usb2, there is no need to open your PC. Just plug it into a USB port, so installation is a snap! You can run it on either a USB 1.1 or USB 2.0 system, though the data rates supported with USB 2.0 are higher (up to 12 Mbits/sec compared with 6 Mbits/sec on USB 1.1). WinTV-PVR-usb2 puts TV watching under your control! Watch what you want, when you want! With WinTV-PVR-usb2 you can pause TV when you want, create your own instant replay and even burn your TV shows onto CD-ROM!

...When my dad first suggested turning our computer into a full computer/TV/radio system I was intrigued to say the least - to me they sounded like a match made in heaven!! So when he came home holding the hardware required to do this I was delighted! WinTV-PVRUSB2 is an excellent invention, allowing you to turn your PC into a Digital TV recorder. The box itself is about 16cm x 14cm and comes with its own stand and remote control.
There are many things to do with WinTV-PVRUSB2. Firstly, and most obviously, it allows you to watch TV while on your computer. You can watch it in any sized widow including a full screen version and are able to set it to 'Always On Top Mode' allowing you to view the TV while doing other things like browsing the internet at the same time.
