I've always enjoyed the quality of products that Harman Kardon comes out with and this speaker set is no exception. The quality of the sound produced by this speaker system is clear and crisp, picking up both highs and lows with no problem and uniting them to create a complementing sound. The surround speakers are setup perfect to come together and sound as one each sounding a little different of what sound comes out of which speaker. You really can't tell what sound is coming from where but all together it sounds perfect. The powerful bass woofer provides just the right deepness for those that are just movie watchers or for those that love to turn up a good song and get the best quality without the lack of deep boost. The bass woofer does not overpower the speakers though, instead they complement the sound to produce true unity.
The system comes with four surround speakers, one center speaker and one bass woofer. The amp power is 200 watts and the reaches 8 ohms in nominal impedence. The woofer is 10 inches in a sleek looking box. The whole system weights quite a bit at about 60 pounds. The speakers are sleek and well designed. They have nice curved edges which make it look great. The speakers are also very easy to hook up to your system and work seemlessly with pretty much any system.
Overall, I think this is a great speaker system because of the sound quality. You get amazing voice quality that complement each other to produce a well uniformed single sound. The system normally retailed for $900 but you can now purchase this system for under $450! For the quality you get this is a great buy - definately not on the cheap end but worth the cost.
