This Hamilton Beach Wave Action blender has been the best blender I have ever owned. True to its advertising, the 'wave action' makes it less necessary to stop and scrape down the edges while blending which makes the whole process a lot faster. I just got the HB Blender last month, and i love it! It's affordable, easy to use, and easy to disassemble and clean. It has all the settings you will ever need and more. From my experience with it, there are no drawbacks with it at all. I love my blender
