I have purchased this Hamilton Beach 14977 Iron before one year, and so far it still does a great job. I ever have gone through a fair number of irons, but all come out problems in half or one year. This is the best one I ever had. If you spend much money on your clothes, then you should spend money in them. I never knew how easy ironing could be until I got this iron. Now we use it to iron our clothes every day before we go to work. The use is easy, just filling it with water and pluggin it in, it will take a while to prepare, the time only need few minutes, then it irons very smoothly and produced excellent amounts of steam. The steam is very good, which makes ironing easy and faster. Especially on using the burst of steam button is amazing. The stainless steel soleplate looks nice and heats up quickly so that you can remove worst wrinkles fast. All in all, this iron is a great buy and worth for the price.
