I got this monitor recently with my computer. Itsdesign is very nice looking! and the back light on it is very bright. It comes with built in speakers and there are also buttons on the front for volume among the other usual menu buttons.
But there are some negatives.
The software drivers that came on the CD say that their compatable with windows Vista but when i load them onto my brand new HP computer, they conflicted.
The resolution looks the best at the highest and when its to low it looks pixilated. But that may be true with all LCD screens.
The speakers are not very loud but they are conveniant and you can't even tell that they are there.
All in all I would recommmend buying this monitor but wait until it goes on sale which so far as been every other week.
