With this camera, I have done art projects, I have taken personal photos, I have done everything with this camera. I have even dropped this camera, and it works just fine. The only bad thing I can say about this camera is that the battery life doesn't last as long as I would like it to. Other than that problem, everything is great. Of course there are cameras with more megapixels, but this camera does just fine for the price.

great beginners camera

Advantages easy to use and operate, light, small and stylish and capable of taking some great photos
Disadvantages you don't get many "free" extras such as extra memory, spare battery or tripod

...I brought this camera in the summer of 2005 as I wanted something better than my very basic and cheap Kodak which I purchased a few years before. I've got on well with this camera in every aspect. The camera is very easy to use and has many help features built-in including advice/improvements on each picture taken. The picture setting has a number of modes for taking pictures of things like landscapes, objects, portrait, sunset to name a few. It also has an optical zoom and an automatic lens cover so there's no need to worry about the lens becoming damaged when it's not in use. The pictures can be downloaded onto your PC in a few seconds in a handy jpeg format. It also has a good video mode on the camera but the only draw-back here is not being able to use the zoom when the video is in use. The video is stored as a popular... Read review
