Advantages Small and handy to be taken nearly anywhere also the price is great.
Disadvantages 16MB on-board RAM is not enough you have to purchase a larger SD Flash card.

...with a SD flash card though it does have 16mb onboard RAM but this is nowhere near enough for quality pictures. Underneath you also have a threaded section so that you may mount it on a tripod handy for those timed photos. ~~~ The Unit - Build Quality ~~~ The HP Photosmart M525 seems of very high standard of manufacture, it is a very solid build and its main weaknesses are the lens itself and the LCD screen. The lens has an automatic lens cover that closes when the camera is switched off so this protects it and also has no fiddly lens cover that could get lost. The LCD screen is set back slightly into the camera so this lowers the risk of breakage or damage greatly. This small camera has a huge resolution of 6 mega-pixels to give you that professional quality photograph; this seems ample for a beginner like me. It seems a lot... Read review
