This is a very powerful computer, when it is working. the one that i had had a 3ghz pentium 4 HT proccessor 512mb ram and a 80gb hardrive, very reasonable specs for a laptop and one that up untila few months ago would of competed with the new laptops that were coming out. Pros: very powerful, ram upgradable to 4gb, wifi built in, card reader built in and a very handy seperate number pad, just like on a normal keyboard. Cons: However i feel because of this high power it created some of its own problems. The major one being the heat produced it really does get very hot to the point i would be concerned about it and built it its own stand to elevate it. I downloaded a cpu temerature checker and it was regulary in the 80 degree c region, the noise from the 2 large fans also rivalls my xbox 360. The other 'problem' is battery life i got at best about an hour out of mine a new one maybe a bit more but this comes with it being very powerful and more of a desktop replacement for someone that wants the power of a desktop but the option of being able to move around (a bit; its very heavy) like a laptop. The last and probably most important issue is reliaility the mother board on mine fried the keyboard went and now there is another serius hardware failure, i have also heard of other peoples failing. And so i would not recomend this laptop to anyone.
