The HP Pavilion dx6500 laptop is a pretty decend laptop, and it will always carry out your needs for basic purposes, but when I had this laptop and attempted to use my 3d and 2d graphics applications on it the laptop failed miserably, and started smoking when I tried to install adobe photoshop haha.
I reccomend this for buisnesses where you need many documents and presentations, for this it is very reliable dont get me wrong, it will do your jobs very well but just dont buy it in the hope that you will be able to run heavy duty programs.
The laptop is definately good if you want something very reliable for no heavy duty programs, and you want to feel secure that all your work is safe.
