Tablet PCs Rule!
What makes a PC great? Is it the size? Definitely, the answer is a big "no!".
Computers have become smaller and smaller but small ones are packed with as much capabilities are larger ones. Take this HP tablet as a big example - well, small example, that is.
What is an HP Pavilion Tx2510us Entertainment Tablet PC?
Capabilities:
It has one of the most superb security systems with its fingerprint recognition - perfect, because its size makes it easier for pickpockets! Speaking of size, this tablet PC has a very small size indeed: just 8.8 x 12 inches and a weight of an amazingly low 4.6 lbs. No sweat!
Memory:
You would think that this model has less memory than big ones. Well, perhaps, but the RAM is capable of being upgraded from the standard 3GB to 4GB. Plus the HD is at 250GB. So, who said it has less memory than normal PCs?
Connectivity
This tablet has many connectivity options that you would wonder again if it is just your usual PC in a smaller pack. Why? Just think that this one is capable of wireless internet connection plus ethernet and bluetooth connections! Also, I was surprised that this one has a DVD reader/writer and a 5-in-1 card reader.
What more can I ask? Batteries? This has a 6-cell lithium ion battery so it can work up to 4 hours. Really good.
Negative sides
With all those praises really, I can't imagine what negative things I can find in this model except that its size might have been its boon but it is also its bane. The small screen makes me squint and the small keyboard makes you commit more errors in typing.
Those who have large hands should really stay away from this model if they will do a good amount of typing. Otherwise, it is pretty good.
I'd would have said that this is a PC for children but you have to remember that this is twice the price of most laptops. No, I wouldn't hand this out to my child.
