...I like this flat screen. Bought mine about July last year at Comet for £229.99 less 10%. I got the discount because my girlfriend works for the Kingfisher Group. Anyway I built my own computer and decided I wanted a flat screen to go with it. Make it look really trendy and cool.
I love it I think it's great, works perfectly and with a decent graphics card, perhaps a 3D graphics card, the viewing on this screen will be of high quality.
The model I got is 15" and it is very suitable for home use, I have had no complaints. Only advice I give is when you buy a TFT ask the shop you will only buy it if you can test it in the shop. The reason behind this is the TFT has crystals that project the viewing on the screen. If one of these Crystals is faulty and it appears on the screen as showing a black little dot on the screen, don't...

Advantages Sharp clear image, digital photo's look great. Disadvantages The inbuilt speakers are functional but tinny quality.
...the OSD button cannot be accessed, this feature would be useful to stop children (or anyone else not to be trusted!) fiddling about and messing up the settings.
The Issue of Image Refresh Rates and Gaming

You are advised to set the image refresh rate at 60 Hz. I was advised by a salesman that the refresh rate on LCD monitors are inferior to that of CRT monitors, not singling out the f1523 particularly. A lower refresh rate means if you are playing the latest very fast games you will experience flickering of the image, as it will not be able to keep up with the action. A higher refresh rate will be smoother. His advice was to stick to CRT monitors for gaming. I do not play the latest games but would advise if this is important to you to ask the salesman to let you play a game before...
