I know it’s considered a bit old at the moment and the last time I logged to HP website, I found it was discontinued; however it’s a great printer with great functionalities. I bough this printer about 4 years ago, when It was a hit in the market and hp was just offering it to the people, I think it was one of the most successful printers to the HP company. Anyway, I am writing this review to the people who liked to work with this printer as I suppose its hard to get one at the moment because its not for sale anymore, and also because there is new models that offer many vast and more functionalities than this printer with a reasonable price. ...I bought this product because I require high quality printing for my 'A'-Level subjects. I couldn't believe the difference in quality from my inkjet, I could never use my inkjet for black and white printing again! Pictures also print very clearly although in Black and White. It reasonably easy to set up with easy to understand instructions. The best part is the software, it can identify any problem with the printer and graphically display the problem and a solution on screen. It is also extremely fast and quiet. ...When I first layed eyes on this printer, I thought it looked bulky and slow - I was put off purchasing one all together! But I have recently reunited with this printer as a key part of my a-level studies! I take it all back what I said - it has a fast print speed, prints all text plainly, clearly and very crisp with no blurred edging at all. The print speed is good too for all those 50 page documents you need to print. My advice for anyone considering getting one of these printers is to go for it as it will be a sturdy and value for money choice.
