Advantages good value, large high-res, bright screen, plenty of inputs
Disadvantages slightly large bezel

...I purchased this screen second-hand and was very impressed with the quality I got for the money. It is a huge bright screen with full 1600x1200 resolution. It has excellent contrast and superb colors. It responds very quickly, making it great for video-editing and other demanding applications. I was a bit concerned about switching to LCD because I do lots of video editing and need fast response so that the video doesn't look "ghosted". This screen performed excellently and it is a joy to edit with. The huge screenspace helps, too. But most importantly, the video looks great. I now use it to watch DVDs instead of a TV. The color and picture is excellent. All the inputs are great - it takes dvi, vga, s-video, and composite video, and even has a picture-in-picture feature. This replaced my monitor and my TV. The stand can be swapped... Read review

The stand can be swapped for a wall-mount if you're so inclined. The only negative thing I can say is the bezel is a bit large at almost 2" of plastic around the screen, though this is merely a small aesthetic complaint. Find one secondhand and you've got an excellent monitor at a great price.... Read review
