...I bought my Dell X51v last month after using a HPJornada710 for 6 years. The Dell is an extremely competent machine. It has one of the largest displays in the business and it is bright and clear. I am happy with the battery life... lasting a week with intermittent use, but I suspect that power users will probably opt for a second battery, since I suspect you could get between 6-8 hours continuous use. The docking station does have an extra charging bay for the extra battery to be charged.
The Dell is fast, but I do experience some sluggishness sometimes. I suspect it has more to do with Windows Mobile 5 and the automatic CPU throttle than processing power. I opt to keep my Dell's processor to run at full speed (624Mhz). It has unbelievable video playback and manages to playback wmv files with no problem. To playback AVI, Div...
