Advantages Good Cost Effective Wide Format Printer Disadvantages On the large side - but then it is a Wide format printer!
...Well, yes it is and ok it does require ample desk space......... but what do expect for a wide format printer.
I use this printer almost daily at work for numerous graphic design based tasks, from printing documents for proofing purposes to production of employee handbooks and other literature.
The only problem i have experienced with this printer came during installation, whereby the drivers on the disks supplied with the printer werent recognised. However, the situation was easily remedied by a phone call to HP and downloading the newer drivers from their website.
After software installation the setup of the printer and its physical components was very straight forward, this comprises of paper tray, output tray, rear paper feeder, ink heads and ink cartridges (all of which simply plug into place)
