Advantages Fantastic Battery life and lots of features Disadvantages No Floppy Drive or PS/2 slot
...I use a laptop rather than a desktop PC at work as I need to move around from site to site. Therefore any laptop I use must offer me the same features of a desktop PC but obviously the additional benefits of a laptop.
The HP Compaqnc6120 is a businesslaptop with a no frills design but all the features you would come to expect for business use. The main areas I consider when purchasing a laptop are,

• Battery Life
• Cost!!
The nc6120 comes in a number of derivatives and prices vary from around £700 to £1,100 depending on what you go for. It is a sensible no frills laptop that is dark grey in colour with no garish add-ons which in my opinion is a good thing. A previous laptop I owned had flashing blue neon lights everywhere which was novel to start with but the novelty soon wore off!!

...lightweight business notepad 6120 easy to transport and set up anywhere - has bonus of internet, wordprocessing and powerpoint for those important meetings - easy to attach printer or projector for larger groups
even for me as a computer dummy - and a non tech person
keypad feels easy to touch and comfotably set out
screen is clear, matt no shimmer -for surrounding light reflection
and large enough to view easily
the price seems too good to be true - but this fact is for the reliable sales of HP products and knowing you have a guarantee of a stable organisation

...have recently upgraded my primary laptop to a hpnc6120. So far I think it is fantastic.I have had no problems whatsoever so far which is good in computer years as I have already owned it for almost 5 months! That includes no stupid error messages or go slows due to greedy programs eating into memory even though I have the dreaded Micro$oft windows XP running on it, no core meltdowns of the cpu due to insufficient heat sinks as I have had with so many other makes and models of laptop, and no problems running any hardware or software on it yet as far as I know.
The Laptop is only thin as it is built to be streamlined and lightweight for cutting edge business technology, I'd say about an inch or so thickness, which makes my slighlty older ones look quite a lot like bricks! It is only light, and I have no problems carrying it 2.5 miles...
